Dream Vacation in Hawaii

I have personally been to Maui three other times with my company trips! It blew my mind how beautiful it was. We stayed at the Grand Wailea and The Four Season twice. I wrote on my DREAM board that one day I would take my entire family to Hawaii in the future. So this trip was a DREAM COME TRUE TRIP!!! Maui is one of my favorite places to travel to, it’s just a little far.

This was Ko and I in Hawaii in 2011 with Mary Kay.

We decided to do seven days and six nights in Maui and four days and three nights in Kauai, that was the only time we had even though there are many other beautiful islands to see.

Maui

We stayed at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali. It was absolutely amazing! We booked a large suite for our family of 5! They were blown away to say the least. The view was amazing!

Surfing:

Surfing lessons at “Guradrails”

Road to Hana Tour:

For this excursion make sure you block out a whole day. You NEED to get homemade banana bread on the journey, stop by Bamboo Forest, jump off a waterfall, and be prepared for a full day of adventure! Either book a tour guide or rent a Jeep and drive it carefully!

Zip lining:

This is where we did zip lining, Skyline Eco Adventure. Remember to let go of fear and be brave!

Snorkel trip by boat, Molokini trip by Sail Maui,

Hike down to the Nakalele Blowhole

My favorite part of the trips we do are the restaurants we get to try! Here are the ones we went to:

Feast at Lele “luau” in Old Lahaina

Is located at 505 Front St APT 120, Lahaina, HI 96761.

Waicoco

Is located at The Westin Ka'anapali, 2365 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI 96761.

Another restaurant we ate at and enjoyed. Such delicious seafood and American food. The bread is the best bread I have ever had in my life!

Hula Grill

Is located at 2435 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI 96761.

The food was amazing! I can say that their seafood was delicious and you do yourself a favor and order their hula pie. Also, they have a great view over looking the ocean!

Sea house

Is located in 5900 Lower Honoapiilani Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761.

Such an incredible restaurant with the most magnificent sunset. The seafood, steak, drinks and bread pudding are insane. Book a month in advance!

Mama’s Fish house

Located at 799 Poho Pl, Paia, HI 96779.

Is incredible but it can be booked sometimes 90 days out. So make your reservations!

Other fun activities to do in Maui:

Kauai

We stayed at the Marriott's Kaua'i Beach Club which is Bonvoy hotel, because a lot of other places were booked. It was nice because they have suites with two separate rooms which is great for you and the kids. If you want to spend a little more and want more upscale I would do the One hotel in Kauai.

Kayak & Waterfall Tour:

We did a half day kayak and waterfall hike tour in Kauai, and we also did lunch.

Tubing:

We did a mountain tubing adventure. Get more info here www.kauaibackcountry.com.

Adventurous rafting experience on a plantation ditch and tunnel that once irrigated vast sugar crops. You will float down and see spectacular views of oceans, coastline, mountains, and valleys. It is a must we laughed the whole time and had a great time.

ATV Ride:

We booked with Kauai ATV Backroads Adventure Tours. It was three hours down hidden trails, through a plantation, and an inactive volcano. So much fun!

Duke's Kauai

Located in The Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort Lihue at 3610 Rice St, Lihue, HI 96766.

Duke’s is a restaurant at the Marriott Beach Club. Such good food, view, appetizers, drinks and hula pie. Great family restaurant!

Hualani’s

Located in Timbers Kaua‘i - Ocean Club & Residences at 3770 Ala’oli Way Suite 2, Lihue, HI 96766

Beach House Restaurant - Kauai

Located at 5022 Lawai Rd, Koloa, HI 96756.
